Ten years ago today, on October 30th 2016, Chad & Jeremy performed their final ever show. After the traditional encore, C&J played one more “Yesterday’s Gone”, so that they could exit the stage with the song that first brought them into the limelight in 1963.
Here is that final “Yesterday’s Gone” from that final encore, set to a collage of images from across the decades in tribute to Chad as a part of his celebration of life in July of 2021.
This video is respectfully dedicated to the memory of Chad Stuart, who passed away on December 20th, 2020.
He is on our minds every day, perhaps even more than he usually would be right now as work continues on Chad & Jeremy’s final studio album, ‘When All Is Said And Done’, finished using incomplete demos and rough drafts spanning five decades of recording as a starting point to create the final album that they always meant to make, but somehow never found the time.
We are all doing our best to make a record that Chad would be proud to have overseen himself.
