Coming Spring 2026…
The Official Chad & Jeremy Kickstarter Project
With your help, Chad & Jeremy will be back for a final album of original material.
A very small selection of Chad & Jeremy master tapes from Chad’s massive archive.
This spring, we’re launching a Kickstarter to finish the final album that Chad & Jeremy always meant to make. The earliest sessions for this project date back to the 1970s. They picked up various songs and put them back down again over the years, but the album was never completed prior to Chad’s passing in 2020. In order to complete this project, we’ve undertaken a deep dive into Chad’s archives, as well as extensive work to digitize and preserve these materials. We’ve been blown away by what we’ve uncovered and we’re excited to share it with you.
Why Kickstarter? This will be the most ambitious Chad & Jeremy project yet. Forty-nine years in the making, this album will draw from newly digitized master multitrack tapes, demos, and other recordings that would have been a part of their ‘ultimate’ album. It will feature original singing and playing by both Chad and Jeremy, plus new parts recorded in London by Jeremy and the musicians behind his ‘Bottom Drawer’ albums.
Working with archival materials is an ambitious and cost-intensive task. On top of the modern recording costs, we’re dealing with the added challenge of recording around original material in many different formats, across five different decades. That archival material all has to be transferred into a modern digital format before work can properly begin on the album. We believe in this album, and a great deal of the initial work has already been done, but we’ll need your help to see it over the finish line.
Our Kickstarter will offer various tiers to support the project, each with special and unique bonuses, including exclusive merch and one-of-a-kind items from Chad and Jeremy’s own private collections. Your contributions will not only help us complete the final Chad and Jeremy album, but to finish the crucial work of permanently preserving Chad’s vast archive of tapes, discs, and hard drives, representing a lifetime of work.
We’ve been working on this—with a focus on preserving the most distressed tapes and hard drives first—for a few years, and now is the time to go public with it.
In anticipation of this new project, we’ve also launched a brand new email list. By joining this list, you’ll receive updates on the launch of the Kickstarter, and more news as we can announce it, including Jeremy’s 2026 touring plans. To join, visit our main page — CLICK HERE.
So stay tuned. . . 2026 is going to be an exciting year.
Best,
The Chad and Jeremy Team
